Alex Lukas was born in Boston and raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Lukas makes sculptures, prints, drawings, and intricate publications alongside long-term research-based projects, videos, and audio collages. He is an Assistant Professor of Print and Publication in the Department of Art at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
